Nicolae Grigorescu (15 May 1838 – 21 July 1907) was one of the founders of modern Romanian painting.

Nicolae Grigorescu (n. 15 mai 1838, Pitaru, Potlogi, Dâmbovița, România – d. 21 iulie 1907, Câmpina, Prahova, România) este primul dintre fondatorii picturii române moderne.
