George Enescu (19 August [O.S. 7 August] 1881 – 4 May 1955), known in France as Georges Enesco, was a Romanian composer, violinist, conductor and teacher. Regarded as one of the greatest musicians in Romanian history.

George Enescu (n. 19 august 1881, Liveni-Vârnav, Cracalia, Botoșani, România – d. 4 mai 1955, Franța) a fost un compozitor, violonist, pedagog, pianist și dirijor român. Este considerat cel mai important muzician român.
